Manage Your Stress & Anxiety

Stress and anxiety are major contributors to health issues

When stress and anxiety are chronic, the “fight-or-flight” system stays switched on and stress hormones remain elevated. Chronic stress and anxiety are linked to high blood pressure, heart disease, heart attack and stroke. Long term exposure to stress hormones can also increase cholesterol, contribute to weight gain and raise the risk of metabolic diseases like type 2 diabetes. Long term exposure to stress can also contribute to depression, eating disorders and anxiety disorders.

Focusing on ways to reduce your stress and anxiety can help to lower your chances of stress and anxiety related issues. Plus, a peace of mind does wonders to your whole state of being.

I started my Tuesday night group for stress and anxiety management in 2017 to help participants manage their stress and anxiety. Stress and anxiety affects everyone from all walks of life. Participants are from all over the United States and international. Many members of the group have been continuous participants since the start.
